501-(C)-(3) status granted by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. 

Status Ante Quo was created with a mission to:  Rescue and restore

America's historic properties and properties of architectural significance,

while creating jobs for the people in the community and improving the

quality of life for those in the community.

restoration of The Rogers Theater for the creation of  50 +  good paying jobs for

the people of Shelby, North Carolina.

Status Ante Quo was developed in 2010 with the maiden goal to restore the amazing and historic 1936 art deco Rogers Theater in Shelby, North Carolina.

Not only will the restoration process employ dozens of Shelby and local residents, once this amazing structure is completed it will house a 350 seat Multi-purpose Performing Arts Center and Grand Ballroom, plus a separate 110 seat art deco upscale restaurant.  These 2 operations will employ 50 + Shelby residents.
