Creating good paying jobs is only part of our goal.  We are also here to revitalize communities and bring a sense of dignity for those that live in the community.  To provide places for the youth, elderly, disabled and disadvantaged to learn the Arts as well as Job Skills that will enable them to support themselves and their families.  To rebuild the tax base and enhance the image of the city by restoring significant structures and creating tourism. 


 

Status  Ante  Quo  was created in 2009 by historic preservation specialist Mr. Gary Kulas.  Mr. Kulas is a 25 year veteran in the art of historic preservation.  He has saved numerous historic structures from scheduled demolition and brought them back to their original grandeur.  Status Ante Quo was created initially for the restoration of the historic art deco Rogers Theater in Shelby, North Carolina.  This theater has stood empty for 25 years.  It is Gary Kulas' goal to bring this building back to life as a flawless and historically accurate masterpiece.  Once The Rogers Theater is complete, Status Ante Quo intends to invest the profits from the theater into future projects that will create more jobs for the people of Shelby, North Carolina, and create additional tourism and revenue for all the existing merchants.  See more about The Rogers Theater at:  www.rogerstheatershelby.com
